Film: Step Into the offering plate

Intro

Project Rescue, through Beyond Creative, needed an origin film to share their story on their 20th anniversary.

Challenge

Project Rescue was looking for a short origin film telling the story of how their ministry got started. They planned to use the video for their 20-year anniversary campaign events.

Approach

Our goal in making this cinematic film was to break down a 20-year long story into the main events and represent them in the most engaging way possible.

We achieved this by interviewing the founders David and Beth Grant and letting them tell their whole story and why they’re so passionate about this cause. We chose to film a couple recreation scenes that were instrumental to the story, as well as interviews from other staff.

Additionally we worked with an international film production team in southern Asia to film some survivor interviews to add credibility to the ministry.

Results

The film received much praise and is a piece that, because of its infinite shelf-life, is continuously being used for informational and promotional purposes. Results are still being measured.
